Two out of three beardies prefer roaches over hornworms. The third prefers hornworms.
I bought a few hornworms because it's Kinky's birthday today for certain and Xena hatched around the same time I was told (2 different breeders). I put a hornworm and some roaches in a bowl and presented it to Xena and she picked out all the roaches before she touched the hornworm. She used to practically do back flips when she saw a hornworm.
I did the same for Kinky with the same result lol.
I also gave some hornworms to Gemini which she loves but she won't touch the roaches (her regular protein is crickets).
