Oh my gosh..I finally convinced my mother that roaches would be better than crickets.
(At the moment we have a loose chirping cricket that we can't freaking find)

After researching, and on this site, I've learned that the Lobsters breed the quickest, and that you can put a Vaseline barrier on the top of the tote to prevent escapes.

I have also learned Aaron Pauling is the go to guy!

I only have one baby beardie, but I know how much they eat!!

I was thinking about getting 600 small nymphs for 22 bucks, and then buying a few hundred adults, maybe 200-400..

(It says he's out of stock of the mixed, so I thought I'd just buy babies, and adults separate)

Should I get more adults?

The total for all that would be about 50 something.
I hope he ships to Alaska........lol

Actually, I've decided not to do the lobsters and go with the Blatta Lateralis roaches.

I found another bug site that sells 1000 for $20 dollars so I'm going to buy 1000 tiny nymphs, and a 1000 adults, or almost adults.

And I'm pretty sure that will be enough to feed my baby beardie and the few other reptiles I have!

I still can't believe I convinced my mom to accept cockroaches in to her home..

Ahh, but they aren't Cockroaches !  They are roaches, but a tropical kind, (all three species), so won't survive well at all in most homes.

Yeah I'm going to heat them lol, I already have to heat the breeding crickets so this won't be that different, except for less escapes and less chirping crickets!!
