on the fast breeding roaches how often do you guys become over populated? My fiance and I only want one beardie and I'm worried that if I try to breed something as food I'm going to be up to my eyeballs in roaches.

i started out w lobsters-----my god they are fast breeders and they can climb. i ended up giving my colony away to a rescue center.

i have one beardie and 4 tarantulas who live off of my dubia------i've had my colony for about 7 months now----started out w maybe 300?   i ended up giving away lots to folks free online if they pay shipping----worked out great.  You will eventually have more than you need so will have to find some option on what to do w your extras.

good luck-----b. dubia are awesome~
