i have yet to see any of my adult male turks fly...mine are very content in their home with all the food and water and ladies they have...i like how they dont fly or climb like lobsters do....mine have bred insanely fast within the last couple weeks....also to me the turks have less of the roach appeal to me

I prefer the Lobster roaches. They seem more durable and less prone to die offs, they get a little bigger and are very soft bodied, and nothing breeds as fast as they do. The only thing against them is the climbing which once you get used to them is really not a big deal to handle. I think because they give live birth rather than laying egg sacks they are easier to keep and breed.

OK 500 Turks on the way..lol and in about a month 500 lobsters. And thanks to crystal I dont have to buy an extra bin. Just one big one for both types. When you cant decide use both.
Thanks All

on the fast breeding roaches how often do you guys become over populated? My fiance and I only want one beardie and I'm worried that if I try to breed something as food I'm going to be up to my eyeballs in roaches.
