So remember how we were talking about reptile rights and all that on the previous forum? well there trying to pass a law to BAN the import, selling, buying, trade, and breeding of some speicies... for the snake lovers that includes boas and pythons..

http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/usarkHR6311/index.html

That is the petition against it. I gotta email about this from aaron pauiling and im sure he doesnt spam... If this is true, This will kill most of the reptile community and industry. I dont know anyother specific animal on the list but its still not fair, mainly cause those two are my fav snake. I LOVE ballie morphs.

Yeah, I signed it the other day. It'll suck if it goes through and we can't do that anymore...going to really screw up the reptile community.  Undecided

Basically the same petition gets introduced every year.  Keep your names on whichever is active, or all of them if you're unsure.  The numbers say alot about how many of us there really are.

I also signed it. I also sent e-mails to my reps in Washington to indicate my annoyance to this bill. They DO have people that look at them. Just put "against HR669" in the subject line and give a few words about your displeasure. Don't write a long tirade about why and how and this and that. Make it one short sentence. If enough people do this, sooner or later it will click and they wiill remember that a lot of us are against this bill.
