So i have a vet that i have been taking my male dragon to but now that i plan to be breeding and what not i am not certain of his level of expertise or how in depth it goes.  he is more than efficient enough to deal with fecal checks bi anual checkups and any parasitic problems but when it comes to pregnant beardies im not sure (i do plan to talk with him once i get back to the US i am currently deployed to iraq).  i just wanted to see if anyone knew of any good herp vets in the area of Onslow county.  Unfortunately on the herp vet connection the closest one is like 3 hours from me which if its an emergency would be no help at.  any input would be greatly appreciated.

Your best exotic vet is in Raleigh.  Quite a way away from you.
When it comes to gravid females, unless it's a life threatening case, vets typically give you sound advice concerning laybox instructions, feeding and supplementation, but anything else isn't required.  if it is that life threatening emergency......make the drive.
