unsure where to post but

some of you may remember me when i first got rocky and joined this forum and i have so many to thank for all the help advice and general boot in the rear when i was getting things wrong
even my recent worries when they started being so sleepy etc
rocky had to be put to sleep today he turned out to be a she and the vet tried there best i presumed she had gone to brumnation the weathers dropped alot colder and she seemed ok except sleepy then yesterday she pooped some blood the vet did so many tests and discovered end stage liver failure im already lost without her but i just wanted any new to beardy keeping people to know it can appear the same as brumnation so please get them checked i know you might feel a fool if they say its only brumnation but it wont feel as bad as im feeling now

I'm so sorry. We've all been pulling for Rocky for a long time Know and find peace in the fact that the last part of her life was much better than the first, and she knew she was very loved.

im just worried should i have known something was wrong right up until the last week she was eating ok even moving around just more sleepy and im worried i missed something and she was suffering

it hasnt put me off dragons im doing out her old tank tiles etc and my son wants a baby one i must be crazy but i dont want to make any mistakes especially if i missed something with rocky

thanks zebrajanie i know the vet was saying same she looked all chunky still until he picked her up and he said they hide illness so good until its too late i just would have hated to have missed something and caused sufferings miss her like crazy im not used to no dragon in the kitchen watching my every move

Janie's right and so is your vet. They're really good at hiding things until it's too late to help them. You had her checked out as soon as you saw something wrong. That's what a good keeper does. Get that baby your son wants. It will help to fill the hole Rocky left behind.

thanks i am waiting on my insurance to get back in touch apparently they had a death clause thing on it and they need send me some money no idea why but it will be used to buy a baby beardy for my son when i finish the tank i grouted tiles into place last week and plan on building a cave when i get a couple more tiles i want soemthing more decorated and totally differant from what rockys viv was something that can be new beardys not feel like rockys old home as much if that makes sense
