My beardie is a year old and is very moody, when i first got him he was extremly aggresive an used to bite me an hiss everytime i tried handling him, after persistantly handling him everyday after a month or so he seemed to calm down and eventually used to enjoy coming out of him viv and havin a wander around the flat, he even used to come and let me know when he was cold and used to cuddle up to me or start pawing me to put him in his viv. just over a month ago his aggressive behaviour started again and he has started bearding, hissing an going to bite me again, its actually quite worring now when he tries to bite as he is ALOT bigger than when he used to do it before an i know how much it hurts when he does get you as he managed to chomp my thumb when i was worming him the other week, he has recently been moved into a new viv  but his aggresstion started before this, his temperature and humidity are all correct and he is still gettin the same foods he was before. has this happened to anyone before? do you think he could be looking for a mate?

aggressive behavior isn't caused by wanting a mate.  it is generally seen when heating, lighting or medical issues are present.  If those are not a problem, then buy a pair of gloves and return to your habit of handling him daily.  Since it worked before, it may work again.
