The little guy seems to enjoy handling. He is a bit shy at first when I pick him up though. I have only had him about two weeks. Is it just because this is all so new to him?

all beardies are nervous to start off with but handling him/her everyday will get him used to your scent also talking to him will help as he will learn to recognise your voice, try to pick him up from the side rather than your hand being dierectly above him as this will scare him and also make sure your not nervous yourself as you little beardie will pick up on that
