Beardie Lay Box
«

My female is just about at that age when she's going to begin to produce eggs. My question to everyone is, what material needs to be in the lay box? Does it have to be organic soil, or could I use walnut bedding like what use to be in her house? Thoughts?

Walnut bedding wouldn't allow her to dig and tunnel like she'll need to, if she lays. I use a 50/50 mix of organic soil and play sand, dampened just enough for it to stick together well enough for form a tunnel.
