So do your beardies get picky with their food? I started my beardie off with crickets and then once he got a taste for megaworms he wouldnt even look at crickets. Now he has slowed down on eating the worms, he will just kind of look at them then tongue them. He will eat a couple but doesnt have the same gusto he usually does. I will probably try and get him some phoenix or silk worms and see how he responds.

The answer is yes they sure do ! Just like in the salads, even the same proteins can be booooooring.
Would you want to eat day in and day out a steak with potatoes all the time ?
You can try roaches as well as those phoenix worms. I would suggest Dubia roaches.. No smell to speak of, easy to breed, and once a colony is established, you've got plenty of then to feed off. Some folks even sell off excesses for extra income.
Hope this helps !

I have heard a lot about these dubai roaches but have never seen anything like them here in the UK. Are they only available in the US ?. If so is there anyway you can start a colony from maybe eggs shipped in ?.
The only live foods i have found available around my and surrounding areas is locust, crickets ,mealworms and morio worms.

Mine have never had roaches they stick to loacoust, wax/meal/morio worms try these as they are not canibalistic like crickets so can be kept longer to

I think the poster was looking for other options beyond those you mentioned.
