I think my baby is getting old. I adopted her a while back and I think she's about 5 years old. What's the captive life expectancy? She won't eat greens any more. All she eats is her dubias. I gut load them really well, but I'm afraid she's not getting enough nutrients. She will eat a few bites of peaches, but nothing else. I still offer greens everyday, but I don't think she can see well anymore because she won't eat unless I hand feed her. Otherwise when she tries to get the food with her tong she misses it. All she does is sleep unless I take her out of her cage. She doesn't bask anymore, just sleeps in her cave (which is warm). She used to be so active. Is this normal for an older dragon to act this way? She doesn't appear sick, just lazy or tired. She has all her bulbs and even goes out in the outside cage when it's not raining for her UV rays. Any suggestions or do I just need to accept the fact that she's getting old?

Captive life expectancy is usually 7-10 years.  I think your dragon may be getting ready to hibernate (or is right now).  I would suggest getting a postage or food scale that can accomodate your dragon's weight and weigh her every few days to see if she is losing weight.  You may also want to get a vet's opinion.

How long has she been sleepy like this?

I have a food scale. Good idea. She has been like this for a while maybe 6 months, but it's gotten worse over the last 2 months. She doesn't look like she is loosing weight, but I will weight her. She still eats about 5-7 full grown roaches every 2-3 days. But no other veggies or fruits. I'm not sure that's enough food is it? I'm going to get a stronger heat bulb and see if that helps. With the weather cooling off she may not be warm enough. Also, we used to have two bearded dragons, but they were both female and faught all the time so we had to seperate them. I gave the other female to a friend. It sounds crazy, but could be be depressed from the loss of the other dragon? They always chased eachother and bit eachother, so I assumed they didn't like eachother. Maybe I was wrong...? thanks for your thoughts and advice.

Also, she used to lay eggs every 1-2 months, but she hasn't laid since I separated her from the tother female. Maybe she's older than I think she is. And yes, I'm positive they there both females. Took them to a really good vet to have them sexed.

Temperature could be an issue, you sounded unsure of the temp.  How are you measuring the temperature?  We recommend either an infrared temp gun or a probe style thermometer with the probe placed directly on the hottest part of the basking spot.
