Is this possible/okay?

Hey guys,
been a while sence ive been on here, but i just wanted to ask..

I have just moved my room from the basement to the smaller room upstairs, nd i am unable to bring Saphiras 40gal tank with me..so i have been letting her roam nd sleep in my room  without a tank, every morning i put her on the window to soak up UVB nd sunlight nd giving her a bath every 2-3 days.. is that okay? im just curious cuz it would save alot of money if i didn't have to have her light on anymore? Thanks guys. ill post pick of her soon

nope.  what she gets thru the window isn't what is necessary for her body to process D3 and absorb calcium.  The temps are also not adequate for digestion.

Glass blocks all UVB, and Ladyknite is correct about it being impossible to maintain the correct temperatures.  Perhaps you could move her to a hallway or living room instead so you can spend more time with her?

She's not in the basement by herself if thats what your thinking! She's in my room with me, but the window is open and i have a screen so she sits on the ledge and soaks up sun, i have direct sunlight into my room for most of the day. I put her there in the morning and she's usually half way up my curtain when i come home. But when its overcast or raining.. like today, she is in her viv til i get home. Just needed to clear that up! Thanks for the input!
