Hi I'm new to this community, my name is Amber. I'm not new to reptiles but this is the first bearded dragon that I have ever owned. I went to the store yesterday where I always get my reptiles from and the babies that hatched out on August 26 they were finally selling so I got one. Not sure if it is a girl or boy but I've been calling it a girl! I named her Sakura. She's very friendly and likes for me to put my hand in the cage for her to climb on and go to sleep on. I don't think I have any questions at the moment I just wanted to introduce myself and my new baby. Here's some pictures of her sunbathing:

Hello and welcome to the forum.  You have a very nice looking dragon.

If you get a chance be sure to check out our caresheet (link)for some great info on taking care of your little girl dragon.  I find it's perfectly fine to just choose the sex of your dragon for him/her at least until they're old enough to know for sure.  Just keep an open mind as you may have to rename your dragon in a few months.

Very important, what kind of UVB light are you using?
