I just adopted an adult beardie, as I have always wanted one and been nervous about babies.  My boyfriend and I decided to finally conquer our nerves and get one, when an adult came up for adoption, with all its supplies.  So, we know have a year old beardie (Quizno) with a 100 gallon tank (roughly).  It is roughly 54"x13x16ish.  It is really nice and long, but I am worried that it is too narrow for the boy.  Is this livable for him, or should we consider a new one?  We would be building one, so good dimensions would be helpful if it is suggested to get a new one.

Thank you.

The minimum floor space for an adult dragon is 36" x 18". The one have should be replaced. Building is fun and pretty easy. Just stay away from soft woods like cedar and pine.
