So we've had our baby, Zilla, for a little over two weeks. She's eaten maybe ten crickets in that time, a few meal worms, and three wax worms. She won't touch her greens, but she's eaten a little bit of strawberry and cucumber. She's very active and loves to be held. She's in a 20 gallon tank and the temps on both sides are good. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
***Update...sorta...just read the post related to mine...going to try to cover all sides of the cage and see what happens...

Some on this forum may disagree with me but eggs may be an ok feeder in an emergency situation, it is certainly healthier than feeding a pinkie (baby mouse or rat). I feed my Blue tongue skink one egg a month and she loves it (I do hard boiled). The worst part is going to be the yolk. If your dragon as low body fat it may be okay to include the yolk this first time. Eggs whites would be a great source of low fat protein but lack other vitamins and nutrients that insects can provide (especially when those insects properly gut-loaded).
Two weeks is usually enough time for the dragon to get accustomed to their new home and start eating well again. Are you certain that all the other parameters are correct? Is the basking spot hot enough, are you using an accurate thermometer or temp gun? Is your dragon getting daily natural sunlight or have a sufficient UVB source in their enclosure? Are there other animals that may be bothering your dragon (another reptile in view, pet bird, cat or dog that's visible from the cage)?
Have you taken a fecal sample to your vet yet to test for parasites?

We have everything in place properly as far as I know. Her basking area stays at 105. Her UVB may be in question though. I have an 18" Zilla strip light. She just has absolutely no interest in eating. We're at a loss. Trip to the vet is next.

The problem is most likely the zilla. They haven't proven out well. As mach said, the egg is ok, but used boiled. Also you want to stop the mealworms due to the amount of chitin. stick with roaches, crix and when baby is a little older, some supers.

Yes I agree, the quickest replacement would be a Reptisun 10.0. Make sure you have a ballast (aka socket) that will fit the length. Also you might try silk worms, reptiworms, or hornworms ordered online, dragons usually go nuts for them.
