My understanding is that you still believe you have two females and are confused as to why eggs were laid?
Two females can simulate mating habits that in turn trigger hormonal reaction. The process is already in place, it is the physical stimulant that gets those hormones jumping. Actual mating would not have taken place with 2 females, but if the receptive female was ready it could still produce very infertile eggs. If your second female is indeed a male, then the above advice i agree with.
