Hi All, new to the forum and have a few questions.

I have been planning on getting a Bearded Dragon for a few years now and have been using that time to read up and get a real understanding of what is involved. I have also been waiting for my kids to grow up a little, and now feel the time is right to add to the family! However i am in the Army and i am currently based in Germany so was wondering about the rules for bringing my bearded dragon back to the UK should the need arise. I have tried internet searches and none of my books mention it, so any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

In my experience, it is legal to ship dragons from most countries except for Australia.  You'll want to speak with both German and British customs to see if there will be any issues bringing your dragon with you.  You may be requires to ship the dragon rather than take it on an airplane.  You may have more luck taking your dragon on a boat out of north Germany.  Be sure to call customs nonetheless.
