Can beardies get colds?

I have a horrible cold and don't want to make my beardie sick. Is it still OK to hold him? I'm washing my hands before I pick him up but I'm still not sure if it is a good idea or not.....Advice?

You will not infect your beardie. Most illnesses cannot be passed between species.

I'll second that.. And as long as you maintain the washing of hands, you shouldn't ever worry about passing anything from or to your dragon.
