Hey guys js wondering I sometimes notice my dragon will be inside his cave and he'll lay there and he starts scratching the ground almost as if he was digging. As soon as he notices me he'll stop and stare at me lol. Js wondering wut kind of behavior this is maybe he's trimming his nails?

my male has always occassionally moved his legs around like he's pawing at the ground when he is laying down.  I think he is just getting comfy getting ready to sleep.

My dragon does this during the daytime, usually between 11 to 2. Its not like he's frolicking digging, he lays down and he'll use either his left or right arm to scratch the ground. To be honest its hard to see what sex my dragon is, it looks like theres 2 bumps but then it doesent  Huh... I'll take a photo and you guys can see.

Just a thought or two... All dragons can dig.

You mentioned between 11- 2.  Wouldn't that be in the "heat of the day" time ?  I would think that it is natural for a dragon to "dig in" during that time of day.

Hope this helps.
