Newbie here has a few questions

Hello all, I am Brian from KY. My pets as of right now is a 7 year old male brindle Pit Bull name Rebel, and I also have a 55 gallon community fish aquarium. Unfortunately a few months ago during the ice storm we had I lost power for 2 days and lost about 10 big fish out of my big 55 gallon aquarium and I also lost my 3 pirhana I had in a 29 gallon aquarium. Last year I unfortunately lost my Columbian Rainbow Boa Consrtictor when it was killed by the rat that was going to be its dinner.

I am now interested in getting a bearded dragon. I have a book on them, have talked to the guys at the pet store as well as read online.
I have 2 empty aquariums, a 20 gallon long with a screen top and a 40 gallon breeder tank made for reptiles with the slide off screen top. I plan to use the 20 gallon long tank to start off my baby/juvenile dragon.

So heres what I have,
-20 gallon long aquarium with screen top
-log hiding spot
-water dish
-green carpet for the substrate
-light dome fixture
-couple of logs
-one of those reptile hammocks that suction cup to the glass

My questions are, ok well Ive been reading on this site, that the Reptisun 10.0 from Pet mountain works the best for the UVB correct? and I also could use a 75 watt Halogen flood lite from walmart for the heat spot, and also get a digital thermometer with wire/probe from walmart, as well as an under cabinet fixture for the Reptisun bulb? Does that sound like a plan? anything else I could need or use?

My next question is, do I need the logs or something for the dragon to climb on to get close underneath the UVB light or his heat light?
