im just learning about beardies but they usually do this to cool down mine does it a lot but then will move off to the cooler side of his viv has your beardie got room to move to a cooler area ? in the viv that came with my beardie he didnt have room to move hope this helps

yes his cage measurements are, 36x18x18, but one more thing, does anyone know a good usa site to get an open front terrarium? i cant find a good one anywhere

Most of us built our own...

Google crossfire enclosures... there is a step by step instruction by the fellow that made the first.

Also, if you do make your own.. stay with hard woods, avoid soft woods like pine.
