Instead of the wide flat piece in the middle use a 2x2, and put glass over it so you could use it like a table. (oh you are, mighty small font) To keep the venting on the top you could space it with 2 2x2s lenghtwise & one in the middle forming an H. I never thought of putting a drawer like that. You could put 1 or 2 separate drawers under the entire length to make it higher. Instead of the L shaped vertical posts, I would use a 2x4 or something & route the edges. Or make the L the right size to fit some small right angle moulding into. What program did you use to draw that?
What i meant by the venting is that you can put screen down, then have space between the screen and glass. Please let me know what program to get to make models like that. If I had something like that it would really help me when a customer wants a custom enclosure. If you have a woodburning pen you can make it even more interesting. I am about to make a table/enclosure myself and im glad i saw yours b/c I didnt think of a drawer.
