so you all probs know that my little boy ratchet is a little dopey looking. his mouth doesn't exactly close. He got metabolic bone disease and his chin has grown past his face but the top of his mouth hasn't. this is all very comical to look at but in reality the poor thing has a dry mouth. I soak him, i have a dish for him to drink from i mist him. but shucks, its just dry and its even a different color, thats because its exposed to the elements.....anywho i have noticed that it is more red and sometimes alittle spotty ( with blood). what can i do for him? i cant do neosporin, or any of that junk...whats good for him? the vet said it will keep happening..

i wont even begin to ask if it hurts, because ive had sores too ( no i dont have herpes) but everyone has bitten their lip or tongue, we all know whats thats like...and i feel like it could be like what he might be experiencing. dragons dont usually show pain, so i have to only guess..

but what can i do for my poor little guy?

Not all.  It will help with sores, bacteria, possible irritations, and somewhat with dry mouth.

Sorry, I lost tract of this post.  There are alot of ingredients in the Biotene, and I wouldn't guess it's exactly great for use in reptiles, but i can't find anything that would cause possible harm.  My preference would be to obtain the chlorhexadine and use that.....
