how do i know if they are fertile?
because to tell you the truth, herc and ratchet have hung out but hes so little i dont think he can reach...but whats to say he couldnt? im freezing these anyway...but if i wanted to know if they were fertile..what do i do?

They sure do look fertile! Are you set up for the babies? You have some time, and I know you've been around here long enough to have learned their care. If you need any advice setting up for them let me know, I'm always happy to help. Congrats Grandma!

i have tanks, and i can order crickets, i have people who want the babies already...

but i dont have an incubator...right now i have those eggs at 83 in a deli cup on eco earth that is just damp

are they like turtle eggs with the breathing thingy? is there a certain way im supposed to put them in?

I've never used eco earth for them. I use vermiculite and just use my thumb to make a "nest" for the egg to rest in. I only go deep enough so that the egg is resting in a little depression, not actually covered with the substrate at all.

yea i dont have them buried or anything just resting, and im monitoring the temp..i need to get some vermiculite, i wasnt expecting this haha
