I find it difficult to believe that the new one isn't working. Not saying you are lying but something must be wrong in the process of trying to get it to work. When you receive the under tank heater and unwrap it from the packaging you will notice that there is a white what looks to be piece of paper over one side of the heater. You will have to remove this in order for it to work properly. Then you stick the pad on the spot of the tank or bin you want it to be and then plug it in. It doesn't work immediately but in about a half hour it should be warm to the touch if not a little on the hot side. This may sound silly but is the outlet it's plugged into on?

I did everything the paper say to do, never got it to work.
This thing is crack thats all I'm saying, I'm going to say away from zoo med items for how till I find some usefully that work. As far as it goes I end up cutting the wire n end up wiring it to my flexwa att. Kinda funny how the warranty on the paper say if u take it off while u stick it.on the warr is void, if this the problem how u suppose to send it in without taking it off? Make no sense

Please refrain from foul language.

You can test it without taking the paper off. It just doesn't work as well.

I'm having a difficult time understanding what exactly you're talking about.  This sounds like you cut the wires to wire it flex watt.  If it didn't work due to an electrical issue as a new unit, it would typically have issues if wired to something else.
