how many times should my bearded dragon poo a day

hi ive had my dragon for a week
he has only pooed once since i bought him is this ok ?

First, welcome to the forum.

Now to address your question.  Yes.  It is normal.  Right now your new dragon, be it a  baby or an adult, is settling in.  Once he/she settles in you should see poop more often.  The frequency of deposits will be determined by the age, and amount of food your dragon consumes.  Say for instance, this is a baby dragon, under 6 months in age.  Most likely you will see it poop daily if not a couple times a day. An adult 18 months or older, will most likely pass feces every couple of days to a week.

Thank You! I was just going to ask the same sort of question. We just adopted a 4 yr old male beardie. He is very healthy, huge actually. The temps are where they should be and we set his tank up a little differently than his original owner had it so we've been letting him settle in a little. He is eating, and we got him to drink. But he hasn't pooped in 5 days. I was really beginning to worry, but I think I can relax a little. Since he's 4 and is still getting to know his new environment, I'll give him a couple more days before I start worrying again.
