Meet Charlie. He's a lab/retriever mix and is 7 months old. My youngest son has been asking for ages for his own puppy and I finally gave in. We adopted Charlie through a local dog rescue and he's already a very loved part of our family. As you can see, Charlie and Jacob have already become very close!

Oh yes, he is a very big puppy. I think he's already coming up on 40 pounds or so! He gets along great with everyone in the family but he's chosen Jacob (my 15 year old) as "his" person. They're inseparable!

Thanks Smiley We're all very much in love with Charlie. He's amusing at night. When the kids head to bed he makes his rounds of the entire house. He checks on the kids, checks near every door and window, and finally follows me to bed before climbing into Jacob's bed with him. He's decided he's our guard puppy!
