Hi, I went to the Local pet store today and got myself some 3/4 cricket, look like adult size to me. I was looking at some Cricket stuff and saw a bottle call Cricket Drink with Calcium by Zilla. Its green, I thought I pick up a bottle of this stuff and try it out myself and see how well it work.

Do I really need this stuff? I got 1 cup of spring water with Cotton Mesh and 1 cup of these Cricket drink in the cricket tank just to see which one these cricket like better.

Let me know what you guys think of this stuff.

Nope all that's needed are the greens you give your dragon and some ground up fish food if you want.

Cricket Drink with Calcium by Zilla is nothing more then water crystals and calcium. My guess is they use RO water (the water from one of the machines you find at the grocery store to fill a water jug with). It is cleaner water and helps prevent sickness in crickets from rare diseases that can be caused by chemically treated water. I don't worry to much about it, but if you are wanting to use it i would suggest buying some water crystals, calcium and some RO water from the grocery store. If you mix them together you can make your own.  It may not be identical but it is basically the same thing.

I'm guessing the crickets you are buying are all being fed in the time span of no more then 7-10days. If this is true I would suggest what beardielover17 said and just give them greens.  Cricket Drink "might" add a small amount of nutrition to some crickets but would most likely not increase the health of you dragon.  If your looking for more nutrition I would suggest changing the staple of your dragons diet to a different feeder. Dubia are one of the most popular due to the fact that they are the easiest to maintain.

Not to mention adding calcium to your feeders will increase the chitin hardness...

Many will order in bulk, and keep them in a rubber maid container with egg crate for hides, paper towel tubes.
You will want to make sure that the container is well vented on the sides or top.

If you do a google search you'll come up with many companies that sell feeder crickets.

Hope this helps.
