zoey has gotten super skinny,, she's still very active, appears healthy otherwise...she has gotten sooo stubborn to the point that she will not eat unless hand fed.  im not even kidding!  i do believe she recently came out of brumation because for the past couple months she was super sleepy and came out of her hide once a day, if even, to catch some rays.  she's out and about all the time now.  she seems to love sugar snap peas (hand fed only), and acorn squash (sliced, not grated, and hand fed as well), she won't really eat any kind of greens like collards, the only thing i've found is the peas and squash.  im wondering if anyone has any ideas of some good foods i can feed her to plump her up again or any tricks that someone may have up their sleeve.  she's starting to worry me Sad...oh, and she HATES her calcium, i have to get it in her in a very sneaky way, and usually when she figures out i gave it to her she has a temper tantrum and won't eat anymore for the day.

if anyone here remembers, she's always been a pretty picky eater and truely does make me her slave when it comes to it.  but it's just getting to hard to do.  she is still pooping, and it seems normal.  not stinky and normal in size, consistancy, and color.  so i really don't think it's parasites.  help?,, anyone?

i think you're "intuition" is a bit off.

That indicates parasites, but could also be a low lying infection.  Reluctance to self feed isn't being spoiled.  A healthy dragon won't starve it's self.

okey doke!! next poo she gives me i'll get a fecal done...i guess last time i had a run-in with parasites it smelt super bad and thats why i was thinking it's not...although i did catch her this morning eating her vegs from yesterday, meaning super crunchy,,,, is it possible that she only has a "taste" for crunchy stuff?  cuz this morning she was 100% willing to go after the roaches, and then she hit up her crunchies,,, i took her dish out and put fresh stuff in and she put her nose to the air! lol strange lil creature she is...

I had a dragon that preferred day old veggies.  She liked them crunchy too.  I thought it was weird at the time, and realized that there were thiamine ramifications there.  Vitamin B leaches out some, so make sure you're multivitamin is a good brand.

i haven't yet been able to get the fecal because she's picked up a horrible habbit of dancing around in her poo and spreading it throughout her viv.  but she has been pooing ALOT more lately.  when i put her fresh veggies in, i'll hand feed her a couple to let her know whats in there and then she waits until no ones looking to actually eat them on her own,, usually the next day lol.  she started eating a lot more roaches as well, on her own.  still not eating as many veggies as i'd like her to, but she really does seem to enjoy her roaches again. so i think thats a good start.  today i switched her from her mvb to a reptisun 10 since i've noticed that ordering a new mvb is not happening.  i wonder if thats part of the problem as well.  i have it about 9 inches away from her basking spot right now cuz she's trying to climb up on it.  when she gets used to it being in her viv i'll lower it a lil bit. the vitamins i use for her is rep-cal herptivite with beta carotene multivitamins.  and i also did switch her calcium to with D3 because of the switching of the lights.  ya, she's pretty mad at me right now for switching her viv around.  but she did eat today so i guess she can't be all that mad at me lol
