just wondering one of my rescued beardies seems to eat constantly and if hes not eating hes tipping his worm bowl over looking for escaped worms he was the dominate one of a pair and previous owner fed them both in the tank as a result he stole all the food and my other beardie went without so maybe hes just used to double rations but can i overfeed him??

How old is he? Are the dragons still housed together? What kind of worms?
If he's over 18 months he should only have 50 to 60 insects each week. If they're housing together, his behavior - whether they're fed together or separately - is part of a dominance display.

Yes, you can overfeed them. The best thing to do is with the right insects feed as much as they will eat in 10-15 minutes with nothing in the tank so that the insects have no where to hide and then your beardie can hunt them down and eat without stressing out. Then take the insects out and put all the habitat decorations back. Also feed your beardie greens and veggies, but be careful what you feed them. You can get a list of what they can eat in a book or on the web.. Buying a book would be best, plus it will give you all the correct info you need.

As perfectly_flawed said, if they are housed together you will have issues.

Otherwise, a dragon under 18 months of age cannot be overfed. What sarge said about feeding insects is right, but that's about it. You can find an excellent nutrition list here.

Don't waste your time and money with books, many of them contain outdated and even harmful information.
