My youngest son got a little 49cc motor scooter a couple weeks ago. I thought I'd be fine taking it up to the store (a mile away) and back. Save gas, right? Yeah. Just as I got it moving the helmet shifted and completely covered my eyes. I ended up in a ditch across the road in 2 feet of icy cold water! Needless to say, until I can get a helmet that fits me properly I'll be sticking to the 4 wheel vehicles and leaving the 2 wheel ones to my boys!

Well.. my first reaction to reading this was... "LOL!"  Cheesy

But then, after my evilness wore off.. I'm thinking how horrible that is! Glad you didn't hurt yourself!  That really sucks to land in the freezing water. omg.

Yes, please stick to the vehicles with 4 wheels!

You can keep the LOL going. My whole family is! My youngest son had to call my older 3 to tell them. He's also told his little sister, his step father, his grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends. My daughter told me "Mommy, maybe you shouldn't ride Jake's scooter any more. It's smarter than you." ...what a nice family I have!

It's a darned shame there's no video, that sounds hilarious! (Seeing how you're okay and all.)

This month has really started out rough down here in Texas too, the city of Dallas has been paralyzed most of the week... Nearly took a spill earlier today myself.

Jacob says he wishes he'd grabbed his camera to record it but he was too busy laughing at me! I survived my older 3 boys but I'm doubtful I'll survive this one (almost 15) and my 4 year old daughter. I swear they're out to get me LOL
