i still don't know what I did wrong before, but I was able to post pics using photobucket. thanks

You didn't do anything wrong. The upload folder was full. It's been corrected.

Posting images from photobucket or any other image storage site is better any way. Attachments uploaded to our folder will usually expire every 3 to 4 weeks. That leaves your post with a goofy "attachment expired" message and no image. Or the admin will simply forget to clean the folder and you'll get the "upload folder is full" message...
