Daydreaming about summer...

Over the past month I've met some awesome fish enthusiasts and joined a great reptile club...and I'm ITCHING for Spring/Summer to get here! A fish friend of mine is planning to go out looking for native darters, sculpins, and shiners and I plan to go...and I'm just dying to go herping! Winter sucks...nothing is out and about Anyone else have this overwhelming longing to be outside and not freezing your butt off?

I await the warmth, but the winter has made me read lord of the rings again, and I dream of Lothlorien, where the flowers bloom despite the winter, and life goes on.

I am DYING for spring/ summer to get here!  I'm sooo ready to go outside again.  I live in michigan so you'd think I'd pick up a winter sport for a hobby.. but I'm just not interested!  I'm excited to go fishing again.. I didn't fish alot last year since alot of personal things kept me occupied, so I really miss it.   Plus, I love the spring, I walk in the deep woods with nothing but my camera on me to take pictures of deers and all the other animals I can find.   OH plus, I really want to get a pair of those kangaroo shoes, so I can go running in those. lol

Can't wait.

lol! I'm dying for it too! I spend a lot of times armed with only my camera out in the woods as well. Never know what you'll find
