Ok so Caeser has been doing alot of sleeping for the last couple of months and i assumed that he must be brumating but what i didnt realize until now is that they have to be a year old to brumate and caeser is only 10 months old based upon my calculation. I got him from a women in may and she said he was 2 months old i think he was 7 inches roughly if i remember correctly at that time. He sleeps all day preety much occasionally a couple times a week he gets up to poop because i still feed him about every other day and i also give him his soaking once a week still. Im confused is he brumating?

It is quite possible he is brumating. They dont HAVE to be 1 year old. It is just the norm for beardies to start brumating after 1 year. There are cases of dragons brumating before 1 year of age.

Did you get a fecal done to check for parasites/worms?

As long as the fecal is clear, hes not losing excessive weight, or showing any other signs and symptoms of illness. I think its a safe bet its brumation.

My guy brumates in the summer( he is special), so don't worry if he is starting a bit early Smiley  As everyone has said get a fecal and you have no worries!
