Does one retire a male breeder for heath reasons?  I figured dudes could... well... hop till they dropped.  How old is he?  If he is older, and likely to start having geriatric problems with vet bills, I'd give him away to a vigorously researched and approved home.

As long as the male is healthy there arent any true problems. However as they age they may be willing, but the sperm count starts to drop.
