How long does it take for the temps to start picking up in my dubia tank? Probably turned it on about 3 hours ago and the bottom is getting warmer. There are 1-5 heat settings then there is a HIGH setting right now I have it on HIGH to get it going, and I have foil on the top of the tank.

No need for the foil.  Did you ventilate the lid ?
Heat does rise, and roaches need a gradient, just like the dragons do.  How are you measuring the temps ?

I have air flow and I was just feeling in there for the temps...didn't seem to warm

You can use a digital thermometer to measure those temps..
