What you really have to figure out is sq feet x bulb or wattage = heat Then figure out how much you have to vent or blow out after you get a constent temp

This is a trial and error process... theres other variables to throw into the equation.

Iv actually almost finished the viv. i have done all the lighting and what not and have placed 2 basking spots one at the top level and one at the bottom with with a seperate heat and uvb light. temps appear to be fine and i do beleive there is enough ventalation with it as well. Im just doing the tiling and finishing up the ramp to the 2nd level and then im done. i will post pics when fully complete. thanks for the input everyone

We built one with a second level.

Finding the right wattage heat was tedious. I spent a lot of time with the temp gun and different bulbs. We ended up with 2 reptisun bulbs 30 on top 18 on bottom and 2 floodlights each 100watt. We thought Rupert would love to run up and down with the extra space but really he seems to think its a chore. He is a lazy dragon though Tongue
