Morning All,
Some time ago I had up a post about a Reptile specific pet shop I was planning on.
The idea is still with Me, and I am taking steps to see it bare fruit.
Now I want some feed back.  What are some LIZARDS that you as a consumer would like to see???
Keep in mind that dragons, geckos ( leopard and crested) are a given.
I may be in a position to breed almost any lizard I want to carry.
Imagine an entirely captive bred inventory.
So please keep the posts coming. I dont care how odd it seems I want to hear ideas.
Thanks
Tom

Mountain horned dragons. They're almost as amazing as beardies and so full of personality!

Some that come to mind that were high sellers when I worked in a pet store were:

-Frilled Dragons
-Uromastyx
-Jackson's Chameleons
-Veiled Chameleons
-Anoles
-Sav monitors
-Blue Tongue Skink
-Water Dragons (Both Aussie and Chinese)
-Tokay Geckos

There were a ton more that sold quite often but they were turtles/tortoises, snakes, crocodilians and amphibians

please tell me this store will be in the southeastern pennsylvania region  Grin sounds like an awesome idea with the shop, especially the captive bred inventory! a lot of big sellers in pet stores i used to work at were mentioned already. chameleons, skinks, anoles, geckos(fat tail, leopard, house, tokay, crested, gargoyle), iguanas, frilled lizards, basilisks/water dragons, mountain lizards. a huge seller in the pet store i was at were frogs, and other reptiles/amphibians. whites, pacman, firebelly toads, common toads, green tree frogs, red eye tree frogs. honestly you dont see too many reptile specific shops. mainly fish specific if not your regular petco/petsmart or local pet stores. at least in my area its this way. i would do everything reptile related you could. stay away from fish and small animals except feeder mice/rats for snakes etc. if your in the pennsylvania area and have ever checked out "That Pet Place" they have an amazing reptile room, setups are really nice, big room with lots of choices and some more uncommon reptiles. thats what i would shoot for, but bigger.
