Petco has a setup that is regularly 179.00 that comes with a 20 gallon tank, and all the bulbs necessary for the young dragon, does anyone know about this setup?  This weekend they are going on sale for half price of the sale price at the moment so they would be 79.00 all together, would this be a good price/set-up to start out with.  I really want to get a dragon but do to all the money that would go into buying crickets it might be wiser to just get this set-up and get a gecko instead.

I'm not familiar with that particular premade setup, but I've yet to find one that's actually ideal for a dragon. Usually, the lights are either compacts or one of the inadequate brands - or both. They usually contain many unneeded items, such as calcisand or crushed walnut (both of which are actually dangerous to a reptile). You also need to keep in mind that a 20 gallon tank is only going to last a few months at best. I've found it best to purchase a 40 breeder, or larger, tank from craigslist or something similiar, then purchase the needed lights and fixtures separately.
