My beardie has been having a lack of appetite over the past 2 1/2 weeks. Normally he eats right around 50-100 crickets every other day, and devours kale, mustard, and dandelion greens daily. I usually throw some other mixed greens, and a fruit or two on occasion, but not very often. Lately, anytime I try to feed him, he either simply ignores the food I provide for him, or wants to completely run away. Its pure luck if I can get him to eat even a small piece of a green (last 2 days being kale, today being mustard green). Instead, all he ever wants to do right now is either sit in front of the window looking outside, run around the house until he falls asleep, or when he is in his cage (please dont ask what sex he is, I have no idea right now), all he wants to do is dig. He digs so much that he constantly moves his habitat around on a regular basis. And like I said, this all started happening right around 2 1/2 weeks ago. Is all of this because of the warmer weather that he wont eat, or is this something abnormal? I mean dont get me wrong, he is a complete ball of energy (1 1/2 years of age), but the lack of appetite is starting to worry me. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

With the digging, it sounds like you may have a female with an infertile clutch. I suggest reading through the breeding 101 thread on the breeding board to make a lay box. If the laybox doesn't work and the behavior continues, we can check some other possible causes.
