Hey guys I have a male hognose snake who is currently not eating (fairly normal for him) But last night when I had him out his one nostril looked like it was plugged up. Nothing seemed to be running down like snot would but I figured it would be prudent to ask.

When snakes get RI do both nostrils get plugged or do you think I am getting the start of a shed as his entire nose is looking a bit darker? Also do they get enough mucus for it to run out or does it just clog their nose?

I put him up to my ear and could not hear any clicking or wet sounds but he is rather small so it would be hard to hear.

Yeah me too, have not seen him yet today as I had to rush to work.

I have been reading that it can be caused by stress, I wonder if now moving to a new place and having some birds in the same room is bothering him.
