since the roaches came in we've pretty much left them alone. except for putting in food, water, and whatnot. i was poking around in the bin yesterday and i found a mess of itty bitty babies!! my question is, how much time goes by from the time they do the duty until the time the babies are here? since they've been here i've had problems with keeping it warm enough and keeping the humidity up so now im wondering if maybe there were some pregnant roaches that came in the box. from the looks of it there are some dead ones in there too. i pulled out a really big one yesterday and now poking around in there today i think i may have found another one or two smaller ones. another question, can i just keep adding water crystals and food to their dishes or should i pull the dishes out and replace with fresh stuff every so often?

LOL I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets stoked on babies. After my roaches have their babies they are very tired and usually lay around hardley moving for around two days. I would imagine within two or three more days they would be ready to impregnated again and then another 30 or so days untill the birth.

I usaly clean the dishes for my dragons every day and my crickets about every 2 days. I always take the 1 day old food out and put fresh stuff in every morning.
I can't blame anyone that rises a good protion of their dragon's food to get excited when they see babies.

Lol mate, I think they are being bred as food for the Beardies, not for pet purposes

Well, some people do have roaches as pets oddly enough, but i think it was just a misunderstanding lol speaking of roaches look what I found this morning, a brand new male!

It looks like they are message board spammers. if you notice, post are somewhat off topic and then at the end they have a link to website for a product or service. I would recommend NOT CLICKING ON THE LINK. it may be a malicious page!!
