Once they've done their thing there's no reason for them to be together, and keeping them together can be harmful to one or both of the dragons. Are they normally housed together? Have you completely researched breeding so you know what you're getting into?

I keep my bearded dragons together and have been breeding for about years now I have not had any problem with it. When she lays her eggs he just keeps his distance. so i dont see a Problem keeping them together.

There are many problems with keeping them together - and with allowing your female to lay in the enclosure. The combined experience on this forum is many decades, and we all agree that keeping them together is just asking for problems. Problems can be anything from intimidation/dominance to fights to the death. It's simply not a risk that a caring keeper is willing to take.

Yes once mated they shouldn't be together. Especially if the tank isn't the size of a 80 gallon tank because each dragon needs at least 40 gallon tank as an adult
