yesterday i took zoey out of her viv and had her run around on the kitchen floor while i got things cleaned up and whatnot.  i then got her bath ready in the sink and went to pick her up, she didn't want that.  she whipped her head toward my hand like she was going to bite me and scurred away.  for a while after she wouldn't let me near her.  she would run this or that way and just totally avoid me. when i did get near her she kept that stance with me as if she was going to bite me.  she doesn't really like her baths, she struggles every time she goes near the sink.  now im wondering if she did this because she felt the need to run around more and wasn't ready for her bath, or is it because she knew her bath was coming?  and what advice does anyone have for me?  this is the first time she's acted aggressive in any which way toward me and im kinda dumbfounded.

I typically ignore aggressive or naughty behavior so they realize it doesn't affect me and stop. Does she have a history with not liking the bath? If so try soaking her in a different container or sink. I know sometimes they can get angry when they are interrupted from their "time of freedom" outside the enclosure so she may have just been acting out on it.

well i took her out of her viv today and cuddled with her for a while.  and then instead of the sink i put her in the tub.  she stayed still for the longest time and then finally started swimming around.  when i got her out she was fine.  so im thinking im not going to plan the run free and then bathe thing anymore lol.

it actually wasn't.  i think she's just getting crabby at me cuz she needs a bigger home.  that might even be why she's not eating her veggies and just acting different.  well thats my story and im sticking to it anyways lol!!  im going to be making up a list of the stuff needed to make her new viv and give it to the man for a project this weekend, i hope lol.  although he decided to start working on the retaining wall yesterday  Roll Eyes

yup.  she doesn't like the sink.  i took her out tonight and went right to the sink, as soon as she saw it she started hissing.  i couldn't get her in the tub because my daughter was in the shower.  i guess im going to have to start planning zoeys baths around everyones showers lol.
