I had an iguana and it was more tamed than my dog. He would actually come to you when i called his name. I had him since he was a baby until he was 4 and a half feet. Never snapped at me, but was whipped a couple times.

Everyday i put him on the porch to bask, and someone saw him and grabed him for their own. They take care of him so, i didnt pursue it

Iguana's can be really fun. I've known a few in my life. The most interesting of which was a male that lived in a Tanning Salon. He had his own tanning bed that they had special lights in it so he could bask as long as he wanted.
He was so friendly. He would greet people at the door and follow people that he liked. The back door got left open once and he went wandering only to get shot by cops.
