Our helpful scubasubie came up with the idea of having a sticky thread that explains some of the terms we use on the forum, to help newer keepers understand what we're talking about without us having to explain it so many times. I'll start the list, and if you think of anything that should be added (or anything you don't know the meaning of!) post here so it can be added later on. I've only got a few minutes, so I'll just toss a couple examples on here. This will later be moved to tech support, but for now we'll keep it here so everyone can contribute.

Impaction - blockage of the intestines
MBD - metabolic bone disease - caused by lack of calcium/d3/uvb
MVB - Mercury Vapor Bulb/A bulb that emits both heat and UV
Gaping - When a dragon opens it's mouth under the basking light or sun. This is to thermoregulate it's body temperature.
RI - Respiratory infection
Substrate - floor covering such as sand, tiles, etc
Urate - the white part of the poop. It's a solid form of urine
Gravid - "pregnant" with eggs, whether fertile or infertile
Het/heterozygous - heterozygous is often used when describing an animal that possesses a recessive trait but does not physically show it. Example: a beardie with a leatherback mom and a normal dad will be Het/Heterozygous for leatherback.
Double het - when an animal posesses 2 recessive traits but does not physically show them.
Brumation  - Simply put as "hibernation for dragons".
Vent/cloaca - A slit under the dragon's tail where it poops from
Glass Dancing - pacing back and forth against the glass walls of their enclosure or continuously scratching at the glass for extended periods of time.
Stress marks - lines and circles on the underside of a dragon when it is stressed, cold, feeling ill or a couple other factors
BD - Bearded Dragon
Viv - enclosure, cage, tank, etc
Bask/basking - sitting in direct heat and/or uvb - very important for proper digestion

I suck at definitions but some terms for the list are:
Substrate
Urate
Maybe some breeding terms...
