i walk by zoe and i see her laying like this,, umm? lol

she really does think she's cool

these are 2 pics of her cave i've been making her.  i took the old backing that came with the vivs and went to town.  in these pics it's just glued together.  so far i grouted and have a couple coats of sealer on.

Hey that's a really cool cave you've made there. I'm gonna design a dragon castle out of that stuff one day.

I read somewhere that someone's beardie was spending so much time in the cave (hide) that they had to remove it all together. They said the male loved "sunning" himself, but the female was spending too much time in the hide and not "sunning" enough. Have any of you who have hides, had this problem with your beardies?

thanks guys! it's still a work in progress tho because i can't do the sealing when the lil ones are around and most nights when they're in bed in too tired to deal with it. lol

i used to have a half log in there that zoey would squeeze into.  after her parasite treatments she would try to stay in there all day long until i took the log out.  so i just took it out entirely.  she's still acting goofy from her treatments so im not too worried about getting it in there soon.   were these two beardies housed together?  if so then it's a classic dominant action happening.  when i had my two together one would be all happy and all around the place while the other one almost sat n sulked in the corner.  other than a beardie being sick or housed with another i don't know if they normally have problems?

thanx beardo!  lol thats yet to be seen, i haven't finished it yet.  i don't think she's going to be able to just jump up there, it's about 9 inches tall.  i don't know, i can't say i've actually ever saw her jump either way lol.  from the looks of how things are going i might not even be able to stick it in with her tho.  the way it is now anytime i stick her half log in there she just curls up inside it and stays there all day long.  she's quite the strange one lol

Looking great Amber! Zoe's a lucky dragon to have you.

Godzchild, if the dragons were housed together, it's almost a guarantee the female was being intimidated and probably bred repeatedly ...that would make anyone want to hide all the time.
