My boys

These are my boys. The beagle's name is Bud aka Budward or Captain Budward. The little guy is a dachshund/poodle mix names Bear aka Blair

We adopted Bud last year (mothers day weekend) from a shelter 9 hours away from us. We hadn't even seen a picture of him but after work on a friday we hopped in the car and drove the 9 hours to northern Idaho. Saturday morning we were the first there and adopted him. On the way home we stopped in Wallace, ID for gas. He was a master escape artists and bolted. Luckly we got him back in the car. Next week (April 22) he will be 7!

February 2008, 4 weeks after my knee surgery, I drove to Blackfoot Idaho and bought Bear. He was about the size of the palm of my hand. He was 8 weeks old (born Dec 24, 2007). On the way home from picking him up I got a speeding ticket.  He's 2 right now

GAH!..... we'll see. It's fishing season so there is no real spare time. maybe after hunting season (late fall)....

He's adorable and probably a very good boy ... but my sister's dogs have ruined me for ever wanting a small one. Hers are obnoxious and noisy. You've heard the term ankle biter? Hers literally are ...when they're not trying to do "other" things to your ankles. She thinks the behavior is cute. Everyone else thinks it's annoying and disgusting.
