it's funny with the time difference.  here your saying your off to the vet in an hour and you posted it at 3 am lol...

good luck!! i hope your babies are all well!! let us know what genders you have lol

i dropped her poo off this morning and now it's just the waiting game.  the two elderly gentlemen in the waiting room were kinda funny "dropping off the morning sausage huh?"  lol, he was cute anyways.

she still hasn't perked up, crawled under her log last night and still hasn't come out, so i pulled the log out about an hour ago.  i know it sounds terrible but im hoping she has parasites because if not, then we have a whole battery of tests to do and i really don't like the idea of it.  the vet said if the poo comes back clean that she wants to do a blood panel.

if they don't call by this afternoon i think im going to give them a call.  when they tested stripes poo it was all done while i was in the office, so they should have the results right away.  ugh, i feel like an expetant father out in the waiting room.

the vet receptionist called.  she does have parasites.  i asked her to repeat it again cuz it sounded funny to me, and im sure im getting this all wrong but it sounded like she said stronglites (stronjelites?)?...i tried searching for it on the net and i couldn't find it, so im positive i have it wrong lol.  the vet isn't in until monday so i have to call back on monday and see what she wants to do with her.  my poor baby finally got up and started moving around 2pm today.  boy oh boy does this stuff make em lazy.

thanks lady!  i'll jot that down when i bring her in, i think this vet knows what she's talking about but not sure.  i guess this will be the real test!

does anyone know if theres anything i can do or give her over the weekend to maybe make her more comfortable.  she seems to really want to hide from her lights.  i pulled her hide out this morning because she wouldn't wake up and come out.  and she was moving around fine finally around 2pm or so.  she ate her crix really good as usual, no veggies once again.  but then about 9 pm she decided she had enough of the lights and dug herself under her newspapers lol.  i guess where theres a will theres a way.  lil stinker!

tell me about it!! i had the same thing with my other beardie (RIP stripe *beardie hugs*) and now with this one.   the whole time i thought this one was the male because she's soooo much bigger than the other one.  just goes to show exactly how many problems were going on in the viv when they were together that we didn't know about.

red will work for a boy.  if you ever heard/saw the american tv sitcom "that 70's show" the dads nickname or name, was red.  but then again, for some strange reason they seem to look different when you find out they're a different gender.  same beardie, same look really,,, but for some reason they look different to me.  so the name just might not suit the look of the "new" him lol
